Firing Incident in Harij’s Dunawada Village: Two Convicted Sentenced to Life Imprisonment and Fined

In a firing incident that took place two years ago in Dunawada village of Harij, Patan district, two accused have been sentenced to life imprisonment. Judge Tanke of the Special POCSO Court in Patan delivered the verdict, ordering life imprisonment for both convicts along with a fine of ₹1,10,000.

The accused, Himanshu Parmar and Shailesh Parmar, were reportedly harassing a minor girl from the same village. During this period, a firing incident occurred near the minor’s house, in which three people were injured. The injured included a father-son duo from the Patni community and the minor’s father. All of them were immediately admitted to the hospital.

Unfortunately, the minor’s father succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Following this serious incident, legal proceedings were initiated, and the Special POCSO Court, after completing the trial, found both accused guilty and sentenced them accordingly.
