At Jetalsar Junction in Jetpur, Rajkot district, a tragic incident occurred when a water tanker driver was electrocuted, resulting in his death on the spot. According to reports, the young man climbed onto the tanker and came into contact with an overhead electric wire, receiving a severe electric shock that led to his immediate death.

Upon witnessing the incident, locals quickly rushed the victim to the hospital for emergency treatment. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The deceased has been identified as Gautam Kandoliya, a resident of Jetalsar. His body was sent to the government hospital in Jetpur for post-mortem examination. The victim is survived by a young child, and his sudden death has left his family in deep mourning.

Jetpur Taluka Police have initiated an investigation into the incident.
