Shahbaz Admits: India Attacked Noor Khan Airbase

Islamabad – After repeatedly denying the reports, Pakistan has finally acknowledged that India carried out strikes on several strategic locations, including airbases. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has admitted that the Indian military attacked the Noor Khan Airbase in Rawalpindi, along with other key sites.

Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India first conducted airstrikes on terrorist hideouts located in Pakistan, destroying them completely. Subsequently, India reportedly targeted Pakistani airbases. During this offensive, India launched ballistic missile strikes on 11 major airbases, including Noor Khan in Rawalpindi, Rahim Yar Khan in Punjab, and Sargodha.

According to reports, nine Pakistani airbases suffered significant damage due to the Indian strikes. However, Pakistan had been consistently denying these attacks. Even in their parliament, Pakistani foreign ministers and several political leaders falsely claimed that it was India that had suffered major losses.

Now, albeit belatedly, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has acknowledged the Indian attack on Noor Khan Airbase. According to The Patriot, on Friday night, Shahbaz Sharif admitted that at around 2:30 AM on May 10, Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir called him via a secure line and informed him that India’s ballistic missiles had struck Noor Khan Airbase and several other locations, causing significant damage.
