When it comes to iconic Bollywood comedies, Hera Pheri is undoubtedly one of the first films that comes to mind. The legendary trio of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal brought unmatched humor and chemistry to the screen in the two installments of the franchise. Naturally, with the buzz around Hera Pheri 3, fans had sky-high expectations. However, a recent report has left audiences disappointed.
Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has confirmed that he will no longer be part of Hera Pheri 3. Reports suggest that creative differences between him and the film’s producers led to his decision to step away from the project.
Following this revelation, co-star Suniel Shetty has expressed his deep disappointment. Currently busy promoting his upcoming film Kesari Veer, Shetty took a moment to share his heartfelt thoughts about the franchise and Rawal’s exit. He said, “It’s extremely disheartening to know that Paresh Rawal won’t be part of the film. He is the soul of this franchise.”
In an emotional statement, Shetty added, “When we talk about Hera Pheri, if there is no Babu Bhaiya (Paresh Rawal) or Raju (Akshay Kumar), then there’s no meaning for Shyam (my character). If you take even one of us out, the film won’t work.”
His remarks underline the fact that the chemistry between the three leads is the core of the Hera Pheri magic. Without one, the charm feels incomplete.
According to reports, creative disagreements between the filmmakers and Paresh Rawal were the main reason behind his exit. Rawal himself confirmed this news publicly. Despite this setback, fans are still holding on to hope.
In the past, there were similar instances when Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan were rumored to be stepping away from Hera Pheri 3, only to return later. This has kept the audience hopeful that Paresh Rawal, the beloved Babu Bhaiya, might also make a comeback.
